On behalf of the UNIS Hanoi community, Grade 10 student, Binh Vu delivered nearly 400 thank you cards written by Middle and High School students for staff working at the Hospital of Tropical Diseases in Hanoi. Influenced by actions she saw happen in other countries, Binh decided to press ahead with the thank you card initiative after her Dad began volunteering at the hospital some weeks ago.
She explained, “I started to get scared when my Dad began helping at the hospital. It made me think about how hard it is for the doctors, nurses and other staff who work there, especially during this difficult time.”
A big thanks to all the MS and HS Mentor groups that contributed cards and the HS Sustainability Service Group for making the boxes in which they were delivered in.
