What are you doing this weekend?

Would you like to help the School decide how to spend money on our students to support exciting projects conceived by them and our community?

Would you like to be part of a team that will decide how we can most make a difference in the world?

Would you like to represent the community on the UNIS Impact Fund Committee?

If the answer is Yes to any of those questions, all you have to do this weekend is let us know that you would like to get involved with the new UNIS Impact Fund Committee by filling in this SHORT FORM.

We will be selecting the UNIS Impact Fund Committee members next week – so be sure to fill out the form before Tuesday September 10.

What is the UNIS Impact Fund?

The UNIS Impact Fund is both a community fundraising campaign and a project fund to support learning. In short, it is designed to help students change the world!

You will be hearing a lot more about it this year…

Approved projects will create Impact in the following areas:

  • Sustainability initiatives
  • Service Learning
  • Learning Excellence: Academics, Arts, Athletics
  • Facilities improvement
  • Professional Development

And the decision makers for which project gets funding?

It could be you!
As part of a cross-community team – the UNIS Impact Fund Committee – with students, parents, faculty and staff, alumni, admin and Board members. You could be part of the team that selects the shortlist for student vote and then make the final decision!

The Fund supports both ambitious community projects – the Big Ideas – chosen at the start of each year and adopted as the focus for annual community fundraising (GOALS); and smaller individual projects supporting risk-taking, pilot programmes and advocacy by small groups or individuals (GRANTS).By working together the UNIS Hanoi community can transform lives and society!

Find out more on the UNIS Impact Fund website and fill in the Impact Fund Committee FORM.
