About Ms. Keri: This is my fourth year teaching 2nd grade in Hanoi. Prior to Hanoi, I taught 3rd grade in Maryland, 1st Grade and EAL in Madrid, Spain, and Physical Education in Dakar, Senegal. My family and I are thrilled to be part of the UNIS community. I have a son who is in university and a daughter in Grade 11. We are originally from the U.S.A. We enjoy traveling, meeting new people, and exploring the delightful food and sights of Vietnam. Outside of the classroom, I coach volleyball and I love spending time with my family exercising and biking. I am very much looking forward to building a strong community of learners, and being involved in your children’s social, emotional, and academic growth. I look forward to getting to know you all next year and building a strong home-school connection.
About Mr. Micah: This is my second year teaching in UNIS Hanoi and my seventh year teaching abroad. My wife and I are from the United States and I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Teaching (Elementary). I previously taught Kindergarten and Physical Education in the ECC. Prior to Vietnam, I taught English in Thailand and Romania for the past five years. I was also the movement and kindergarten teacher for our summer school program at UNIS Hanoi. Outside of school, I love to play tennis, compete in triathlons, and travel. I am looking forward to meeting you all this year and I hope everyone had a wonderful summer.
