Bear Hunting 101!

Bear Hunting training has begun in K2 as they dive into their Adventure Challenge Unit. The students were put to the test on day 1 as they were asked to go on a Bear Hunt for the BIGGEST, SCARIEST, MEANEST Bear!  After we decided that we needed some training in special skills before hunting again.

Students have been put to the test in various adventure challenges and cooperation games. We have learned why taking turns is important, cooperation is key, and what it means to be a good communicator. We can’t wait to go on a bear hunt again because… WE’RE NOT SCARED!

K1’s Get the Job Done RIGHT!

K1 students have been learning that working together can be fun and productive during our Adventure Challenges Unit. Throughout the unit we learned what it means to be a good communicator. K1 students have decided that a good communicator does more than just talk. They share ideas, listen to others and use kind words.

We have spent the last 4 weeks playing games that required lots of cooperation and thinking skills. The Unit ended with parachute and obstacle course challenges requiring us to put our cooperation skills to the test.
