UNIS Hanoi to participate in International Research Study

UNIS Hanoi has been selected to participate in an international research study and our grade 9s and 10s will play an important role!

The Safe Passage Attachment Study at International Schools, or SPASIS Study is coming to the high school in October. Author and research fellow, Dr Doug Ota will be heading the research team which is looking into transitions and attachment. Please read Dr Ota’s letter of introduction for an overview of the project, and watch his video.

The dates the SPASIS study were set last January when Jane McGee accepted the invitation for UNIS Hanoi to participate. Between October 21-24 students in Grades 9 and 10 will be invited to participate in the study which will include a questionnaire that they will complete during the morning activities on UN Day, on Oct 21.

This is an exciting opportunity for our community and we hope that students and families will consider participating. More information will follow shortly about permission to participate.
