Math Minds Monday- Mathematicians are readers!
K2C enjoyed acting out and singing this song: 5 currant buns in the Bakers shop !
Thanks for supporting your child’s Home reading- Books are changed on Tuesdays. As well as listening to your child read, please continue to read aloud daily to your child, especially books in your home language. Also, you might to encourage your child to find ‘high frequency’ sight words in these books. Maybe your child can teach you how to play sight words B-I-N-G-O!
The field trip to Donkey Bakery on Wednesday morning was a definite highlight this week. Look on Seesaw to hear/see your child’s recount of this field trip. As Donkey Bakery is a social enterprise we were also fortunate to see a business that employs people with disabilities. We learned some sign language and could communicate our hellos and thank you with the staff.
K2C also have a bakery! Today they enjoyed role play being producers and consumers. Chefs, bakers waiters, delivery people and customers.
Thank you to Hans’ Grandparents for being this week’s Mystery Reader. Click Here to sign up if you haven’t done so already.
