My name is David Logue I am from a coastal area north of Sydney, Australia and have just completed my first year teaching at UNIS. I am married to Monica Mayer (Elementary Librarian) and have two grown up sons. Michael, my eldest, has just begun a posting at the Australian Embassy in Jakarta and the youngest, William has just finished university in Canberra. William’s real love is working at the zoo where he runs educational tours and looks after venomous reptiles!
I have been teaching for 32 years in a variety of educational settings – government, private and international schools. As well as working as a classroom teacher on all grades, I have also been in School Leadership throughout my career. I have held the positions of Curriculum leader, Grade Leader, Head of Welfare and Assistant Principal and have really enjoyed being back in classroom with teaching as my primary focus. I spent 3 years teaching at the British International School, Jakarta and another 3 years at the Australian International School in Singapore so appreciate the special nature of education in an international setting. I strongly believe in building deep and meaningful relationships with my students so that they can reach their full potential.
