  1. This video called Brain power and shows how brain work. It compared to internet to explain our brain.
First I got informations about child’s brain. The child’s brain making billions upon billions of connections between different parts of the brain. The child’s brain similar to internet but the size and complex is different. A human at any age has about 100 billion neurons in the brain but the internet has 1 trillion web pages , so the internet is bigger than child’s brain. A synapse in the brain , the connection point between two neurons is like a hyperlink. Resolt were that child’s brain has the most. The internet has over a 100 trillion links , an adult’s brain has 300 trillion links , and a child’s brain has quadrillion connections. It’s 10 times the number of connections of the entire internet.
A baby is born with 100 trillion neurons. Every time you talk with a child , connecting the different parts of brain , which allows for new ideas , insights , and creative thinking. During these early years , a child’s brain makes an many connections as possible. Prunning the ones theat aren’t used and strumingthemimng the ones that are.
The other things that I got is stress. To learning to deal with stress is an important part of development. When you get stress , it is means your brain is activated by everything it encounters , or be overwhelmed. If the stress relieved quickly , the system easily returns to normal. Where there is no adult to relieve the stress, the body’s alarm system activated , which called toxic stress.
These early years also can building a strong foundation for curiosity , creativity , adaptability.

  2. A brain is like the internet, making as many connections as possible. It makes new connections everyday and continues to grow and find new information and interests. Whenever you engage with a child or even adult it forms a new connection, and new ideas.

When a small child is stressed or upset their brain will turn on an alarm system and they will lose control of their body, and if their stress continues that is called Toxic Syndrome. This means that either the child is always uncomfortable and doesn’t have a proper adult guardian looking after them or comforting them. This could cause the child to have problems during the rest of their childhood and adulthood.

A child’s brain can make more than 1,000 synapses in 1 second. These are important because they shape the way they think and grow. What they know builds their brains up until adulthood. As a child your brain is always making new connections and finding out new things. Your brain thinks so rapidly that every second it is making a connection. The same thing happens when you interact with someone. After a while a child starts to get rid of the things that are never used in his or her mind. This continues through your whole life. You learn new things all the time, so imagine how many connections you make and get rid of in your brain every day.

  3. This is how I taught the brain looked like before I watched the Video. I didn’t really add any details to it, just the shape of the brain.

This is How I reimagined it after. The red lines are the neurons, and the roses are the connections.

What I learned from this video was that the internet is kind of like a child’s brain. Always growing, constantly changing, and forming billions upon billions of connections. Every time you talk with them, interact with them, and even make eye contact with a child, you are forming connections with them.

If we want to compare a child’s brain and the internet in size, let’s say that a neuron is a web page in the internet. A child is born with 100 billions neurons, when the internet has a trillion web pages! So the internet is bigger.

But about connections, the internet has over a 100 trillion links. And an Adult has 300 trillion connections. But a child has a quadrillion connections.

But a child’s brain can also be overwhelmed. Which causes stress. If there is no caring adult to help relieve the stress, it causes toxic stress. Toxic stress. It cause the connection for self control to be pruned, While the one’s about fear to get stronger.

  4. Step one: Draw an image to show how you see your brain. Take a photo and add it to this response.
Step two: Then watch the video called Brain Power. Take notes and then redraw your brain to show what you have learned. Post your second picture and respond in writing (200 words +) explaining what important information you took from the video.
Step one: This is how I imagine my own brain at the outside part: a wormy 2 piece blob. A gross type of organ, but important.

A brain is like a functioning computer, an internet. A brain from the outside looks like what I have drawn at the beginning. The brain is a very complicated internet that human only know a little bit of it. Inside the brain is even more complicated.

Why is my brain alike to the internet?
The brain has many connections inside the brain and works like an internet. It sends and brings back information. The brain neurons are like a webpage. As comparing a child’s brain and internet, the child’s brain has more connections than the internet by 10 times!

Our Brain is important for our life but can be affected positively or negatively by things you hear, talk, and more. I have learned that the brain can be compared to the latest technology. You gain knowledge and prune some of the things you don’t usually need, just like a tree.

Step 2: Here is what I think how the brain inside looks like after I watched the brain video: I think the inside of my brain has billions of connection cords and other things.

  5. MY BRAIN
How do we shape our brains?
The Brain changes throughout our life based on our experiences.

What is the number of neurons in a child’s brain and what is number of webpages in the internet?
If you would take the number of neurons in a child’s brain and then take the number of webpages in the internet, and compare the two answers to see which one the child’s brain or the internet would win. Then the answer would be that the internet would be bigger. The internet would win, because a human brain at any age which means that it could be a child a teenager or an adult has about a hundred billion neurons in there brain. But the internet has up to 10 times the amount of web pages, in the internet there is 1 trillion web pages. So with the information that the internet has 1 trillion web pages and a child’s brain has a hundred billion neurons, so that means that the internet is bigger.

How complex is the child’s brain and how complex is the internet ?
If you would say that a synapse which means a connection point in between two neurons in your brain and, compare a synapse to a hyperlink which means a connection in between two web pages in the internet. The child’s brain would be more compexer than the internet. The internet has over a hundred million links, an adult’s brain has 300 trillion links, but a child’s brain has a quadrillion connections. 10 times more connections of all of the links that the full internet contains. The connections form at a very fast speed during your first five years of life all of your connections form, at 700-1000 new synapses per second are build. The connections are created through every influence that a child has and those are very important, because they form the design of a child’s brain.

How does a child’s brain work?
Every time you have eye contact with a child, every time you talk to a child, every time you with a child and every time you exchange words with a child each little time you help a child you are and each time you make a child laugh, you are growing her / his brain and you are making there connections grow and stronger. During a child’s brains first five years the child’s brain is trieng it’s best to make as many connections as possible. When the child grows up the brain starts taking away the connections that are not used and making the connections stronger which are used a lot. This proses continue in your brain, through your whole entire life until your life is over.

  6. Brain changes shape throughout life.
A lot about the brain that we don’t know.
So we look at how technology today can help us understand the brain.
Research and asked people what they are thinking.
It was clear that the internet which most advanced technology help discover more about brains
Compare internet to child’s brain internet young-still growing just like a child constantly changing making connections
Neurons can be compared to web pages.
Internet is bigger but a child’s brain has more connections.
Every time you talk to a child you are growing their brain and connecting
    different parts of the brain.
    Can be stressful.
If the stress continue can get Toxic Stress
    Young year are important.
Internet needs to bring people together in a positive.
How do we nurture these systems?

  7. The most important Information I took from the video is what i will explain now.
Firstaval how have we been shaping our and our children’s brains? What have we been putting in their minds?, what have we taught them?.

We have been comparing our brains to the newest tech of the day for years and years now. We have done this to see how the technology can help us understand our brain better.

People started to think, what if we compare the technology to the child’s brain?,not just a child but a baby. This is because the internet (part of the technology) is still growing rapidly, just like a baby’s brain.

They wanted to see if the internet had more “neurons”/web pages or if a baby has more neurons. The results were that the internet has more web pages, they also checked which has more links in there head, a baby or the internet. The results were that the internet has over 100 trillion links but a baby has over a quadrillion links.

Did you know that every time you talk or engage with a child you are growing their brain, this means whatever you say or do with your child will have effect on their life.

Leaving your child alone when he is upset and crying is very dangerous, it stresses them out and because of that the alarm system stays on in their body, all this can cause big problems throughout their life. What the baby is going through is called toxic stress, this makes the connections of fear and stress in their head bigger and stronger.

For years now we have compared our brains against the newest technology of the day.

  8. Brain Power

The internet is bigger than the child’s brain, there are 100 billion neurons in a child’s brain and the internet has 10times that. But in a child’s brain there has more connections than the internet .

Toxic Stress is when the stress in your body is to much and your body activates an alarm, that can cause some bad things to the child’s future. It can also cause the good activations of our brain get pruned and the dab ones get stronger.

The child’s brain always grouse, but they grow a lot more when the child is much younger. The creativity, adaptability and curiosity.

On the internet there is over a hundred trillion links, an adults brain has 300 trillion links and a child’s brain has a qua julion connections. (10times the connections in the internet)

The internet is growing as much as the child’s drain, that is all because of us (humans). And the internet is getting bigger and bigger and affecting our minds and our health. The internet makes the brain more and more unpowerful. And that was a problem since all the internet inventors invented electronics. Since then the brains of people are are getting worse and worse, and it is still getting worse.
