Kids are settled . . . Now is the opportunity for you to engage your professional skills towards volunteer work

The SCO (School- Committee Organisation) Project Grant Committee seeks parent volunteers for activities related to grant management.  Over the years, the Project Grant under the SCO has funded numerous initiatives ranging from the UNIS school song to the supplies for Thuy An Orphanage.  The six-member committee works to identify new initiatives to fund in the school and community, reviews the submissions from students, teachers and parents, promotes the project grant fund opportunities and puts into place criteria and related guidelines.   In return, the committee provides an excellent opportunity for people with professional skills to get involved in community and school activities in an informal way. It’s a great way to engage, participate and also strengthen your skills.

Membership on the committee is for a two-year period. The committee meets monthly, and has flexibility in terms of meeting times and locations.

We are currently seeking two new members . . . Everyone is welcome to apply.  Get involved and you’ll get more back in the end!

Next Grants Committee meeting scheduled for October 18 at 12.00 at Jafa restaurant in Ciputra.
