As we near the end of the school year, the SCO Executive Committee would like to take this opportunity to send our most heartfelt gratitude for your leadership during the year and especially throughout the last several months. We recognize the incredible amount of extra time and effort that you have put forth to guide our school through the difficulties and challenges brought about by the COVID-19 crisis.
The SCO Executive Committee is a group of volunteers, like yourselves. We decided to become involved in the SCO because we believe that a strong, connected community makes strong institutions. We know that you share this value as evidenced by your decision to serve on the Board. We appreciate your thoughtful consideration of the many different factors when making decisions about the school in these ever-changing times. We appreciate your monthly communication to the community explaining your processes and deliberations. We appreciate your clear focus on what is in the best interest of the school’s future not only to ensure financial stability but most importantly to ensure a high quality of education for the students. We appreciate your caring response to families in need. Finally, we appreciate your close, supportive partnership with our Head of School, Jane McGee.
We are aware that the future will bring uncertainties and we know that UNIS is not unique in this. Our community, our families, friends and loved ones in Vietnam and all over the world face uncertainties. We feel immense comfort though knowing that you will continue to lead with competency, positivity, hope and understanding of the needs of our diverse community.
Thank you for all that you do for UNIS Hanoi!
