Symmetry and Swimming

Dear parents,

UOI: The kids have started their independent research projects. They are building their own inquiry based on one of the lines of inquiry and will spend the last few weeks of unit researching and developing a format to communicate their ‘missions’.

Math:  Examples of radial symmetry are found all around us, particularly in nature. The kids used their origami skills to create a paper sculpture to examine the difference between linear and radial symmetry and make connections to fractions.

Outdoor Classroom Day: With the air quality cooperating, we were lucky enough to spend some classroom time outside this morning during community. Lots of reading, drawing and random crafting.

Relay Swimming Gala: G2&G3 Wednesday, 05 June, 09.30-11.00 (Period 2&3)
Have a wonderful weekend.
