In K2 we are learning how we can measure and record our performances so we can set goals to improve. K2s have become PE scientists, inquiring into the different ways they can throw, jump and run. Since everybody is different we wanted to figure out what ways worked best for ourselves. K2s recorded what ways they felt worked the best for them and then, like a scientist does they tested their methods and hypotheses.
Once we learned what was the best way for us to throw, jump and run we went onto step 2: Measuring our performance. We have now begun to figure out the different ways we can measure our performances. How far did we throw? How high did we jump? How fast did we run? We are working as a class to decide what way we want to measure our results. Next we will learn that we can use these results to help us set targets and goals for improving our skills and getting better.
