ES Coffee Morning: Supporting Students in Transition

Dear Parents,

We look forward to welcoming you to our final Elementary School Coffee Morning of the year on supporting students in transition, tomorrow, May 25th.

Transitions happen at the end of every year.  We are all somewhere in the cycle of arriving, leaving or being left behind. Our Elementary Counselors will help you to understand more about the transition cycle and how best to support your child, regardless of what stage of the cycle they are in.

This session is relevant for parents of all elementary school students – those who are arriving, leaving, or being left behind.  We look forward to seeing you in the Community Room, B7, at 8.30am.

Warm regards,

Megan Brazil
Elementary School Principal

Elementary Coffee Morning Series 2017-18

Dear Elementary Parents,

It gives us great pleasure to share with you our ES Coffee Morning programme for the rest of this year.  Using your feedback from our first coffee morning, we have prepared a range of topics that you told us would be most helpful! Sessions are generally organised so that we provide you with around 30 minutes of information, and allow for up to 30 minutes for questions, discussion and social connections between parents.

Please join us this Friday, September 22nd, at 8.30am in the B7 Community Room, for a session on “Understanding the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme”, led by our PYP Coordinator, Angela Meikle.

As always, we remain committed to developing positive partnerships with our parent body and welcome your feedback on other ways that we can work together to create a vibrant learning community.

Sincerely,

Megan Brazil

Welcome to the Elementary Tin Tuc News!

Dear Elementary Parents,

As part of our commitment to strengthening our partnerships with parents, we are launching the ES Tin Tuc News as a way to streamline our communication with Elementary families.

The ES Tin Tuc News will arrive in your inbox every Thursday.  The blog will pull all posts that are relevant to you.  For example, a Grade 4 parent may receive general announcements,  Grade 4 blog posts and any news from Grade 4 specialist teachers for the week ahead.  Instead of reading several blogs and emails, you will now receive this consolidated mailing with all pertinent information.

D-12 News will continue to be delivered every Friday via the regular Tin Tuc email. Please be sure to also read this for important news updates.

We value your feedback!  Let us know how this communication platform is working for you.  Please share your thoughts with us at estintuc@unishanoi.org.

Sincerely,

Megan Brazil
Elementary Principal
